Zoran Matović

PROJECTS EXPERIENCE:

In the period 1985-2002 he gained vast experience in the remediation process in Serbia, then in 2001-2002 he was the chief designer of successfully implemented by UNEP-funded project to clean KR.2: Decontamination of polluted PIRALEN WASTE WATER PLANT ZASTAVA CARS. He worked as chief engineer on all proposed projects and cleaning feasibility studies by UNEP: KR.1, KR.2, KR.4 and KR.5 in the period from 2001 to 2002.

He was also the coordinator of the project "Monitoring the environment of the river Lepenica in relation to the PCB" Project No: 401-00-293 / 2002-01 in the interval from 2002 to 2003. In the period 2002-2004 year was also the coordinator of the project in the field of Bioinorganic Chemistry; Project No.: IT13015. In the period from 2006 to 2010, was a participant in the project: "Bioactive complexes p and d metal ions with ligands pharmacological significance" (Evid. No: 142013 B). Dr Zoran D. Matović is underhead on project: "Preclinical testing of bioactive substances" (Reg. No. III41010) funded by the Ministry of Science and Education of Republic of Serbia. He is currently one of the coordinators of the project TEMPUS MCHEM 511 044: "Modernisation of Post-Graduate Studies in Chemistry and Chemistry Related Programmes" from Serbia University of Kragujevac, funded by the European Union. Coordinator of the technical team for the waste in the preparation of "Local environmental action plan for the city of Kragujevac" (2010-2014). Is a prominent member of many organizations and former member of Republic team for wastewater.

He was vice-president of the Environmental Protection Committee "Continuous Conference of Yugoslav municipalities", and the President of the Serbian Chemical Society of Sumadija region.

RESEARCHING WORK: Coordination Chemistry and Bioinorganic Chemistry, Synthesis of the coordination compounds of the different metal ions, resolution of the racemic mixtures of the prepared complexes to the optical isomers, absolute configuration of the enantiomers, biological activity.

PROJECTS EXPERIENCE: A member of the staff of the different scientific projects supported by Ministry of Science of, earlier, Yugoslavia now Republic of Serbia since 1979. The leader of the subproject of the FP7 project - Centre for Pre-Clinical Testing of Active Substances (2009-2011). The leader of the scientific project (No 172016) - Sinthesis, modeling, phisico-chemical and biological properties some organic compounds and corresponding metal complexes (2011-2014) supported by Ministry of Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. A leader of Headquarter of Civil Protection for Central region of Serbia- located in Kragujevac (1990-present). A leader of expert team for Local Environment Action Plan (LEAP)-municipality of Kragujevac (finished and accepted 2004.) a member of expert team for Local Environment Action Plan (LEAP)-municipality of Kragujevac (finished and accepted 2010). A leader of Project (for Government of Republic Serbia-Ministry for environment) „Study of past, temporary and future environment plans in Kragujevac” (2003.) A member national team for National Environment Action Plan (NEAP) and National Environment Policy Plan (NEPP) of Republic Serbia -group for water (2004). A lot of analysis different materials (water, ground, food, ear and so on), recycling (solvents, chemicals,…) and detoxication of industrial waste materials.
